At times you think you’ve hit rock bottom
And there’s no way of coming back
You feel the universe is against you
And that life is never going to get on track.
In times like these it’s never easy
Positive words begin to suck
The entire world tries to motivate you
All you feel is that you are out of luck.

DeleteI just thought its been a while since I wrote something that could inspire me or someone else. :)
During my bad times (and believe me, there have been horrible moments) what kept me going was a simple line - This is not how my story ends. I knew I was capable of more. And I knew no matter how bad I felt, a day would come when this would be just a scar and I would have moved on.
ReplyDeleteAnd I have. The scar remains but I have moved on and become a lot more in life than even I ever imagined.
That is indeed a great line. I will remember it when I need it. I know things have been hard at your end even though you never share it. The way you can make others laugh even in hard times is motivating in itself. You are an inspiration Doc! :)

DeleteLife is definitely hard for everyone. Moments of silent suffering. This too shall pass and it will be hardly remembered.
